Welcome to the 2011 Cookoff!On behalf of myself and the Barton County Fair Association board of directors, Welcome to the Central Kansas State Barbeque Cook off. We are excited to host this State Championship Contest and we hope that you will enjoy the time that you spend with us. Moving this event to Labor Day was a big decision for our board and we hope that this new time of year provides an opportunity for us to grow bigger and better, with more intense competition, camaraderie and good ole’ Central Kansas hospitality that we are known for. We hope that by sponsoring this event we will truly provide Something for Everyone and provide you, the participant, a memory that will last a lifetime..
